Should the six fasts of Shawwal be kept consecutively or intermittently?

How to observe the six fasts of shawwal? Do we have to observe them consecutively or intermittently?

Answer

The six fasts of shawwal may be observed either consecutively or intermittently from the second day of the month till its end; with the exception of the first day of shawwal ie Eid day.
